Episode #9 - Jo Grabyn: Optimising Brain Health and Preventing Cognitive Decline

As our lifespans increase, it becomes paramount to understand the mechanisms that contribute to premature ageing and cognitive decline, and more importantly find ways to prevent or combat them. This month, join Gabe and brain health expert, Jo Grabyn, as they peer into the intricate complexities of neurodegenerative diseases, uncovering the factors that accelerate brain ageing, and examining the latest advancements in research and treatment options.

Jo Grabyn is the founder of Bounce Matters, a Whole Health Clinic in Sydney specialising in brain and mental health. Jo has a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional Medicine), and studied psycho-neuro-immunology (PNI) and psycho-neuro-endocrinology (PNE) to understand how our thinking creates and changes brain chemistry, affecting our hormones, immune system, digestive system, and in turn, our health as a whole.

Jo is qualified in the Bredesen Protocol  (aka the MEND Protocol), making her one of the first in Australia who is able to use this method to tackle and reverse or prevent the onset of early Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. She has also trained with the institute of functional medicine studying neuro-degeneration on a deep level and the integrative medicine for mental health.
