1% for the Planet is a global movement of businesses and individuals collectively supporting environmental solutions. Created by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, the founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, the movement connects dollars with doers, bringing together individuals, businesses and vetted environmental organisations to help fight climate change. Today, 1% for the Planet has a presence in more than 45 countries around the world, with the involvement of over 2,000 organisations committed to donating revenue (not just profit) to protecting the environment.
