Episode #18 - Ayurvedic Routines for Autumn // Sarada Martin

In Ayurveda, ritucharya or seasonal routines are one of the key principles in the maintenance of good health. Every season has its own set of principles and practices that relate to the seasonal characteristics of that particular time of year, and to practice ritucharya is to understand how the seasons affect the energetic forces - known as doshas in Ayurveda - of our bodymind.

As we move into Autumn this month, Gabe and Sarada Martin of Organic India chat about how we can get ourselves ready for the change in seasons, from a physiological, behavioural, emotional and psychological perspective.

This episode covers grounding practices for Autumn such as how to balance vata, diet and nutrition tips as the temperatures begin to drop, the best herbs and supplements for Autumn, grounding yoga poses - and more!
