What is Vitashine™ Vitamin D3 made from?

While the Vitamin D3 in most supplements are derived from lanolin found in sheep's wool (which incidentally increases the risk of residual pesticides and sheep dip), Vitashine™ Vitamin D3 is sourced from lichen, making it suitable for vegans.

Will I meet the recommended daily intake (RDI) of magnesium by taking Mag³ Complete?

The RDI of magnesium for men is 400-420mg, while the RDI of magnesium for women is 310-320mg. Mag³ Complete contains 349.9mg of magnesium, so you'll more than meet your RDI with Mag³ Complete™ and magnesium from dietary sources.

Returns

For health and safety reasons we can't accept change-of-mind returns on nutritional products. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, email hi@orahealth.com.au within 7 days with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace or refund it.

Vitamin D promotes calcium absorption in the gut and maintains adequate amounts of calcium and phosphate in the body to enable normal bone mineralisation. Without sufficient vitamin D, bones can become thin, brittle, or misshapen. Vitamin D is also important for the reduction of inflammation as well as modulation of cell growth, neuromuscular and immune function, and glucose metabolism.

We use Vitashine™, a vegan source of Vitamin D3 that is sustainably sourced from wild-crafted lichen. Vitashine™ is registered and certified by The Vegan Society, Indian Vegetarian Mark, the Vegetarian Society, and Non-GMO Project.

Abundant in whole grains, green vegetables, dairy and meat, B vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins that are critical in maintaining healthy metabolism. They are normally dependent on coenzymes and co-factors for absorption and utilisation in the body, which means that if our bodies lack the co-factors or we have a weak liver or digestive system, the B vitamins have no effect. Activated B vitamins, on the other hand, are biologically active and require no further breaking down or conversion – they can be used directly and immediately by the body.
